The lambada dance had an important cultural and economic impact in Porto Seguro, Bahia, Brazil, the 1980s 1990s. attracted visitors from all over world to city, becoming one of region’s main attractions. also strengthened identity self-esteem local population, contributing cohesion strengthening society. Dance has influenced Brazilian culture, including fashion, gastronomy art. artistic manifestation “LAMBADA IMATERIAL CULTURAL PATRIMONY” made Seguro tourist destination, being popularized through TV programs, films shows. city became known as “Capital Lambada ‘’ many tourists were looking for places dance, generating a demand products services related lambada.
